4092 Large Poplar box newel posts have a pedestal size of 7-1/2 inch x 7-1/2 inch and an overall length of 55 inches. Pedestal wall is 3/4" with the main shank at 6 inches net. The 4092 Box Newels are made with lock mitered corners, which means they have no end grains, developing elegance.
