The Atago 2793 Master-URC/NM is a handheld, portable, clinical refractometer that has dual-scale measurement of urine specific gravity (SG) 1.000 to 1.060, and refractive index (nD) 1.333 to 1.356, manual temperature compensation, and is housed in a plastic body. A refractometer measures the refractive index of a solution in a sample, converts it to substance concentration in units of percent by weight, and displays the results.
